One of my personal highlights, Pompeii has intrigued me since childhood. Not only is this one of the best-preserved archeological sites in the world, but Pompeii also serves as a reminder of how quickly reality can change. Exploring this ancient city was like walking back through the past, enjoying the near-perfect condition mosaics, looking at ancient plumbing systems, and admiring the ancient fast-food corners and crosswalks.
